This section includes all the parts that are generally found on the brake backplate when the brake drum is removed.
You will need to identify the make and size of the brakes you have first. Most are autoreverse and made by Knott, Al-ko or BPW. Lockheed brakes were discontinued many years ago and unfortunately, there are no spares available any more.
The brake shoe size can be identified firstly by measuring the inside diameter of the drum then the width of the brake shoe, then looking at the pictures of the brakes shoes on this page, it should be possible to identify the make. With this information, it should now be possible to use the ‘filter by brake size’ on the left to show only the parts that relate to your brake backplate.
