Front Push Towbars
Front Push-Tow brackets are designed to help the manoeuvring of trailers and caravans into or out of tight spaces without the difficulties of reversing. Most designs have a detachable (DT) section to provide a neat appearance. The detachable system is simple pin and 'R' clip retaining a pullout square tube. The tow ball is usually offset to the left side of the vehicle to allow the driver a clear view down the side of the caravan.
PLEASE NOTE that many BULL BARS are NOT compatible with Front Push-Tow Bars.
Detachable: The front part of the Push-Bar is easily removed so that the front of your vehicle is kept neat and tidy.
Look & See: No more neck craning (or mind numbing) problems of which way to steer to miss that tree!
Power: Use the power of your vehicle, not your back, to move your caravan, powerboat, horsebox, on grass, gravel or uphill.
Neat: The main part of the Push-Bar is normally hidden.
Manoeuvre: Into tight corners with ease – its all in front of you.
Control: Position double axle caravans with ease.
Easy to use: Quick to fit – simply remove the plastic bung, slide the detachable section into the fixed tube and secure with the HT Pin & R clip.
Due to retirement, Watling have now stopped manufacturing front push bars. We purchased their remaining stock, if your vehicle is not listed, unfortunately, there is no front pushbar available.

With a front push towbar, you can avoid the difficult neck craning and mind-numbing job of trying to figure out which way to turn the steering wheel to make the caravan or trailer to go in the correct direction. It also means you will no longer have to manoeuvre a trailer by hand as you use the vehicles power to push a trailer or caravan uphill or on gravel.
The front push towbars are simple to fit and come with full instructions. Front push towbars don’t require complicated electrics for the trailer or caravan lights.
If you require a front push towbar to manoeuvre a caravan with an Alko red stabiliser don’t forget to upgrade the front push towbar to include an extended Al-ko towball so the caravan hitches up properly.
Most front push towbars are rated to 3500kg and a large maximum nose load weight. Please see the product description for the specific rating. This shows they are strong and can easily deal with hard work.
As standard, the front push towbars come with a mounting point on the left hand side (if sitting inside the vehicle). This is so right hand driver vehicles can see around the side of the trailer or caravan. However, some can only be mounted in the centre centre of the vehicle, details about where the towball can be mounted is in the description of the vehicle.
We have front push towbars available for many vehicles including Ford Transit, Land Rover Discovery, Toyota Hi-lux and Volkswagon T5 Transporter.
Unfortunately, front push towbars are often not compatible with full width bull bars. If these are fitted, please check if they will need to be removed. It is sometimes necessary to cut the vehicle body work to fit the front push towbar. This will be stated in the description.
