The SAS security Hitchlock for caravans & trailers fits the original open pressed steel handled hitches on unbraked trailers mounted on drawbars up to 60mm wide (Not for couplings fitted on ‘A’ frame drawbars). This lock is designed to fit around the trailer stand, breakaway cable or chain brackets and deeper drawbars.

Very happy with this lock. Easy to fit and a visible deterrent. I wasn’t sure how to engage the dummy tow ball provided with the lock but a quick call to Western Trailers solved the problem – just give it a tap upwards and the hitch engaged. Apart from locking the hitch itself, the body of the lock also covers one of the bolts attaching the hitch to the trailer drawbar and prevents the locked hitch just being removed and replaced with an unlocked one ! A big advantage over many other designs.
