Al-ko Kober replacement AAA SELF-ADJUSTING brake shoe set for one axle. The 2050 & 2051 kit replaces the brake shoes, springs and cover plates in two drums.
Al-ko self-adjusting brakes can be found on many more recent makes of caravan and trailers. Caravan makes such as Swift, Bailey, Lunar, Sterling, Swift, Coachman, Bessacarr, Compass and Elddis as well as trailers such as Brian James, Ifor Williams, Snipe, West Mersea and Indespension have used Al-ko self-adjusting brakes. Fitted to with either a single axle up to 1500kg or tandem axle up to 3000kg (two kits will be required to replace all four brakes).
Al-ko recommend that brakes shoes on the same axle are replaced at the same time to maintain even braking.
Genuine Al-ko Kober Brake Shoes.
These brake shoes are for a 200mm Diameter Drum with a 50mm Brake Shoe Width.
Basic Kit Includes:
4 x 16350426 Brakes Shoe (2 x fitted with lever),
4 x Shoe retaining spring., 4 x Cover plate,
2 x Tension Spring
Note: The hub nut must be replaced as it has been designed so that when torqued up the thread locks on. When removed the thread is damaged and cannot be re-used.
